Under his leadership, Permira successfully executed several acquisitions and disposals of Italian sector-leading companies, such as Ferretti Yacht, Marazzi, Valentino, Sisal, TFL, and Veneta Cucine. His professional experience at Permira lasted until 2013, when he joined the luxury sports cars manufacturer Pagani Automobili Group as a direct Investor and Member of the Board, a position he is currently holding. In 2014 he was appointed by Erick Thohir, the President of FC Internazionale S.p.A., as Member of the Board of Directors: Nicola Volpi held this position until 2018, with a focus in the area of finance and strategic planning.
