Besides his role at Mercado Libre, David is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor in various tech companies in Europe, Latin America and the US. With his ample experience in e-commerce and scalingup businesses, he also serves as advisor and mentor to many entrepreneurs both nationally and internationally. David co-founded and led the Mexican E-Commerce Chamber (AMVO) and initiated the largest Mexican annual online sales event: Hot Sale. Currently, he is actively involved as a member of the association’s supervisory board, representing the interests of 400+ e-tailers in Mexico. Before initiating AMVO, David co-founded and was the CEO of two Mexican e-commerce Startups, clickOnero and Dafiti. David started his career at Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division in London.
