Hugo was born and raised in Peru. In early 2000’s he got his Diploma in Industrial Engineering, starting off his career in the Logistics industry, where he worked on storage and distribution matters.In January 2012, Hugo moved to The Netherlands to pursue his MBA degree at Erasmus University, graduating in March 2013. In addition, Hugo acted as interim Finance Manager for local companies in The Netherlands. During one assignment he moved to do home-office due to Covid-19 outbreak. In this new set-up, he found himself struggling to keep up with his personal productivity. Looking for a solution to allow him regain control over it as well as on his work-life balance, he learned that other professionals were dealing with a similar problem and there was no such a simple product in the market. This was the beginning of Silentus. Since then, Hugo’s been working on market and customer research and also setting up a team to grow the business and develop a great product.In February 2022, Hugo graduated from INSEAD Executive Master in Finance studies. - Cosaporto — Cosaporto is a home delivery service bringing users goods from upmarket and premium shops in Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence, and London. The startup carefully selects the best independent shops, producers and artisans, delivered directly to the user’s doorstep within hours of ordering. The service can be used to send beautiful gifts, or forevents, as well as surprises. Currently, Cosaporto operates in several Italian cities, including Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence and last year it launched a London branch of the business.
As Head of Data Science, Luca is responsible for data analytics, computing, research and development at Evidation Health. Luca was the co-founder of The Activity Exchange (which joined forces with Evidation Health in 2014) where he led data science and drove research collaborations with Harvard Business School and the Wharton School. Prior tothis role, Luca worked as R&D at Ask.com and was a visiting scholar at Google Research and ETH Zurich where he developed efficient algorithms for spatial data, real-time intrusion and anomaly detection in computer networks. Luca earned a PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara focusing on traffic analysis in computer and road networks. He's an alumnus of the Sant'Anna School of Pisa, Italy.
