Peter Harrison has over 35 years of executive and investment experience spanning the private and public technology sectors. Mr. Harrison is currently the Founder and General Partner of Sanderhill Capital, a fund focused on social and environmental impact investing. He is also an operating executive with Marlin Equity Partners as well as a boardtrustee of George Washington University where he chairs the ESG taskforce. Mr. Harrison earned a BS in Software Engineering in the UK before moving to the US in 1986. In 1990 he co-founded, Seer Technologies, an IBM backed spin-off from CSFB where he was working at the time. He led the growth of Seer’s international business growing the company to over $120 million culminating in an IPO in 1995. In 1996 Mr. Harrison joined Versata, an early stage technology start-up in the Bay Area where he led the growth of their revenues 60 fold in four years culminating in an IPO in 2020 which on the opening day was ranked as the 25th biggest opening of all time. In 2001 Mr. Harrison joined GlobalLogic as CEO, a technology service firm, which at the time had less than 20 people and over the next 10 years grew it to over 6,000 attracting investments from NEA, Sequoia Capital and Goldman Sachs and acquiring five companies along the way. GlobalLogic was itself acquired by Apax in 2013 resulting in a greater than a 10x return on capital. In 2013 Mr. Harrison took over as CEO of Snagajob, a marketplace for hourly workers with over 60 million users. While there, he recapitalized the business and grew software revenues 10 fold over five years. He presently sits on a number of technology boards and collaborates with several VC’s and PE’s advising them on new investments and M&A. Over his career Mr. Harrison has had a direct hand in raising $400 million in both public and private markets that have resulted in the creation of companies with a combined market value of more than $8 billion dollars.
