Jarl was also founding President and Chief Executive Officer at Liberty Digital, a public company that invested in cable networks, the Internet and online businesses. Prior to joining NPR in July of 2014, Jarl served the as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) for more than a decade, including two years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Jarl also spent over 12 years on the board of The Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, including six years as its Chairman of the Board of Directors.
