Poh Kam WONG is a Professor at the Business School of National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Director of NUS Entrepreneurship Centre. Through the centre, he oversees the university's entrepreneurship education programs, as well as the university's incubator, seed funding programs and mentoring scheme for nurturing spin-offcompanies by the university's professors and students. He has published extensively in leading academic journals on high tech entrepreneurship and innovation policy in Asia, and has consulted frequently for technology companies in Asia, as well as international organizations such as the World Bank. He is an active angel investor in technology start-ups in Singapore, Asia and Silicon Valley, and is the founding Chairman of Business Angel Network Southeast Asia (BANSEA) and chairman and partner of BAF Spectrum Pte Ltd, a business angel fund based in Singapore. He is the initiator of StartUp@Singapore, the annual national business plan competition in Singapore since 1999.

He chaired the Information Technology Standards Committee from 2005 to 2012, and currently chairs its Cloud Computing Standards Task Force. For his contribution to standards development, he was awarded SPRING's Distinguished Partner Award in 2011. He was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2013.Robert was formerly a partner of Accenture where he led the strategy practice in Southeast Asia and the Communications, Media and High Tech industry practice in Singapore.

A well recognised serial tech-entrepreneur in Southeast Asia, Mr Lau founded his first tech company when he was 23. Since then, Mr Lau has took 3 tech companies public .At the start of his career Mr Lau was the co-founder and Managing Director of Viztel Solutions Berhad (Viztel), a telecom and mobile internet software startup that grew into amajor regional player. Mr Lau was, at the time, one of the youngest ever managing directors of a publicly traded company in Malaysia.Mr Lau has also led a group of investors to a successful take-over of the Oriented Media Group Berhad (Omedia), a publicly traded digital media company, of which he was later appointed, Executive Chairman.
