Eduard Kucera is a Member of the Board of Directors at AVAST Software since February 2014. Eduard was the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors from the incorporation of AVAST Software a.s. in December 2006 until January 2014. Since 1991, Eduard was responsible for the activities of our predecessor entity, ALWIL Software partnership.From 1991 to 2009, Eduard also served as AVAST Chief Executive Officer, directing day-to-day operations that included the transition to a free software distribution model in 2002. He graduated from the University of Economics, Department of Information Management.He started his career in business started Ondrej Fryc already studying at university as patrol seller of canned fish imported from the Baltic region.
