Eduard Kucera is a Member of the Board of Directors at AVAST Software since February 2014. Eduard was the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors from the incorporation of AVAST Software a.s. in December 2006 until January 2014. Since 1991, Eduard was responsible for the activities of our predecessor entity, ALWIL Software partnership.From 1991 to 2009, Eduard also served as AVAST Chief Executive Officer, directing day-to-day operations that included the transition to a free software distribution model in 2002. Prior to co-founding AVAST, Eduard was a Computer Hardware Specialist at the Czech Computer Research Institute (VUMS). In 2009, Eduard was named Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year 2009" for the Czech Republic. Eduard holds a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences degree in experimental Physics from Charles University in Prague.

After severalpairs of worn out shoes rather then after he moved to the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce, where he worked as a project manager for international market research company. In 1997 he co-founded market research agency, where he served as managing director. After five years, sold its share.Andrew was in 2000 one of the three co-founders bilezbozi.cz, predecessor MALL.CZ. The company went through all the positions of the driver rozvozového vehicles to the current position of Chief Executive Officer Netretail Holding BV , under which we have passed, as well as all our foreign colleagues, the first February 2008 . Ondrej also significantly contributed to attracting investors for MALL.CZ, including Intel.In 2003 Ondrej elected to the board of the Association for Electronic Commerce in the Czech Republic and in 2007 was elected to the Supervisory Board CZ.NIC organization.Ondrej is married and has three children.
