Melih is one of the pioneer Internet entrepreneurs in Turkey. Born in Istanbul, he studied Computer Engineering and MBA at Bogazici University. After one year of professional experience in Citibank, Melih founded yemeksepeti.com with his partners in 2000. Yemeksepeti.com became the online food delivery giant first in Turkey, and then in Middle Eastand Eastern Europe. As a co-founder, Melih has acted as CTO of the company until 2013 and as Board Member until May 2015, when the company was acquired by Delivery Hero writing one of the biggest Internet exit stories in the region. Through its website and app - used by millions of visitors every month - Culture Trip’s globalcommunity of travel experts and local insiders share travel content and recommendations, together with curated collections of places to stay, hotels, things to do and experiences that can be booked online. In addition, in 2021 the company launched its TRIPS by Culture Trip — unique small-group adventures, curated by travel experts and led by Local Insiders. Culture Trip was founded in London in 2011. It now has a team of around two hundred members of in-house staff. This group of technology, travel and media professionals operates out of branches in London, New York, and Tel Aviv. On top of that, Culture Trip has a worldwide network of local content creators and insiders – writers, filmmakers, photographers, and creatives – in hundreds of locations across the world.

Pippa is a Partner at Sweet Capital and splits her time between the London and LA offices. Prior to Sweet Capital, Pippa worked in Consumer Private Equity at LVMH-backed L Catterton, where she was part of the investment team that worked on a $175m co-invest with JD.com into Secoo, China's largest luxury e-commerce player. Prior to this, Pippaspent five years at J.P. Morgan in London and Hong Kong, where she was part of the global equity strategy team, analysing companies for investment primarily in the technology and consumer space. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Pippa worked for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Shanghai and Beijing, developing UK/China investment and policy initiatives. Pippa holds an BA in Chinese from Oxford University and an MBA (Fulbright Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
