At 31, Sachin Dev Duggal is an innovator, serial entrepreneur, and an advocate of enterprise that touches lives and benefits the world at large. He is the co-founder of shoto – a new startup that lets find unseen photos from your friends when you were together using location, your phonebook, and an algorithm that understands the nature of the momentand who was there.Sachin was the co-founder of nivio (which he exited in 2012 after taking it to a $100m valuation), the company that first made Windows available over the Internet. He sits on the board of Planet M (a large Indian retail chain), Chairs his original technology solutions company SD 2 Labs, and is an advisor to Eros Digital; the digital arm of Bollywood’ premiere distribution company. Sachin’s profile is an unusual mix of experiences & serendipity. He was an entrepreneur at 15, worked for the United Nations and helped write the declaration of youth rights before he completed his first degree from Imperial College. Sachin has also built a successful software business (www.sd2labs.com) and was a young investment-banker (at Deutsche Bank) building complex trading models at 17. The software company continues to grow year on year and now has just over 100 people in India and the US.Sachin started his public foray very early in life, at the age of 12 he went on stage in front of 1200 people and the world media to demand something be done about the state of the environment. He began his professional career at the age of 15, when he formed SMX Corporation (now sd2labs) along with his best friend. In August 2004, Sachin co-founded nivio with a view to disrupt the old compute model; and got seed funding from two of his bosses! Fast forward to 4 years later, nivio was selected as a technology pioneer at the World Economic Forum in January, 2009. Sachin made history in being the youngest attendees at the WEF in Davos. He left nivio in 2012 to start on a new idea having put together a world-class team to grow the business.Sachin’s an avid and recent believer of Vipassana and that life is a zero-sum game – so its essential to spend our time giving; this is one of the main reasons he has put aside stock in all major businesses he works in with Saurabh to their foundation and other notable charities such as Keep a Child Alive – the charity that Sachin & Saurabh’s foundation worked with to raise 4m USD for children in India and South Africa with Aids in 2011.Sachin’s other accolades include the MIT TR35 Indian Innovator of the Year, the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Leader of Tomorrow, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, the BBC Young Asian achiever of the Year and UNEP Global 500 Youth Award. Sachin is also the Youth Leader of the National Computer and Electronics Committee of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India.
But the real desire and mission has always been on the dream of 100x50 (100m kids educated in 50 years) through their Sachin & Saurabh Foundation, a not-for-profit set up to deliver that dream.Sachin Dev Dugal is currently the Chief Wizard at Builder.

Mr. Li Ka-shing is the richest person of East Asian descent in the world and the 11th richest person in the world with an estimated wealth of US$26 billion (as estimated by Forbes). His primary operating company is Hutchison Whampoa Limited. Mr Li's younger son, Richard, is Chairman of PCCW, one of Asia's leading internet andtelecommunications companies.Mr Li Ka-shing is the Chairman of Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited and Hutchison Whampoa Limited. Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited is the flagship of the Cheung Kong Group which has business operations in 54 countries around the world and employs about 240,000 staff. In Hong Kong alone, the Group includes nine listed companies with a combined market capitalization of approximately HKD600 billion (30 June 2009). Hutchison Whampoa Limited is a Fortune Global 500 company.Born in 1928 in Chiu Chow, a coastal city in the southeastern part of China, Mr Li fled to Hong Kong with his family to avoid the perils of war. His father suffered from tuberculosis and passed away in Hong Kong. Shouldering the responsibility of looking after the livelihood of the family, Mr Li was forced to leave school before the age of 15 and found a job in a plastics trading company where he labored 16 hours a day. By 1950, his hard work, prudence and his pursuit of excellence had enabled him to start his own company, Cheung Kong Industries. From manufacturing plastics, Mr Li led and developed his company into a leading real estate investment company in Hong Kong that was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1972. Cheung Kong continued to expand by acquiring Hutchison Whampoa and Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited in 1979 and 1985 respectively.Based in Hong Kong, the Cheung Kong Group's businesses encompass such diverse areas as property development and investment, real estate agency and estate management, hotels, telecommunications and e-commerce, finance and investments, retail, ports and related services, energy, infrastructure projects and materials, media, and biotechnology. Mr Li is a strong believer in synergy — the power of combined efforts. This belief is reflected in his naming his company Cheung Kong Holdings after the Yangtze River that flows through China, a great river that aggregates countless streams and tributaries. The Times in the United Kingdom and Ernst & Young UK jointly named Mr Li as the Entrepreneur of the Millennium at the turn of the century.http://www.hutchison-whampoa.com/eng/about/chairman/chairman.htm 30 June 2009

- UnderTheDoormat — UnderTheDoormat Group is a prop-tech company that empowers property owners, portfolio owners and property companies to generate higher income through the short-term rental industry. Our mission is to help every property fulfil its potential every day, by to connecting them with quality guests through our 3 products.Firstly, we operate short termrentals for those who don’t have the capabilities - UnderTheDoormat London has 300 units across the city, including the flagship aparthotel 3 Sloane Gardens operated on behalf of Cadogan Estate. Secondly, we distribute for providers who can provide quality hospitality, but not distribution. And finally, our TrustedStays platform is the world’s first platform which connects professional home rentals with Government and Corporate procurement. Until now, short-term rentals haven’t been able to enter this world, and we’re connecting it.All three arms enable owners to earn higher return from short term accommodation.
