Ralf Dummel, born on 02.12.1966 in Bad Segeberg in Germany, started his career on 01.04.1988 at DS Produkte as a sales assistant to the then founder. Over the years he learned the business from the ground and took full responsibility for purchases and sales after only a year. He vastly participated in the establishment of the company and has been apartner since 1996. Today, the group has an annual turnover of ca. € 250 000 000, 400 employees, and more than 4 000 products in its portfolio. He often travels the world to visit suppliers and customers, and to find inspiration in new innovative products. Dümmel knows Asia inside out, but Northern Germany is the place he calls home. Since 2016 he takes part in the TV program “Die Höhle der Löwen” (literally: The Lions’ Cave, German version of Dragons’ Den on German TV channel VOX ) where he plays one of the “lions”, looking for young entrepreneurs with brilliant products.Ralf Dummel is very convincing with his genuine and appreciative style. From day one, Ralf Dümmel brightened up the surroundings, thanks to his enthusiasm for business and for new products. He has a unique sense for trends and products; he can market them with more success than hardly anyone else. He proudly claims that there hardly is any household without a “DS product” in Germany. Dümmel is often on the road for professional reasons, and when he sees that a customer adds a DS product in their shopping cart, he feels the same tingle of joy after 28 years that he felt in the early days. The 400 employees are Dümmels’s most important asset. They actively take part in the company, invest themselves in it, and help it develop further. Dummel is very proud that the DS products are the result of such a varied cast of people and skill sets. These are people with different personalities and talents that complement each other in a cooperation shaping always innovative business and product ideas.

Haak is a German political scientist, tech entrepreneur, operator, and investor with a track record of founding, scaling, and exiting companies—as well as building and managing high-impact funds. He co-founded the AI/ML job matching platform Jobspotting, which later merged with SmartRecruiters. Through the merger, Haak became ashareholder, as well as Global COO and Managing Director of SmartRecruiters, where he built international go-to-market and fundraising operations. - Bonaverde — Bonaverde is revolutionizing the world of coffee: how it's traded, distributed, roasted and consumed. What was once a space reserved exclusively for large-scale corporations, is now being challenged by this small team from Berlin and their dream of establishing the world's first direct-trade, eCommerce marketplace for green coffee beans. In doing so, they hope to reset the income distribution standards in this commodity business to the benefit of farmers, while delivering consumers a fresher, better tasting coffee. In order to realize thier dream, Bonaverde had to invent the world's first, readily available roast-grind-brew coffee machine - which you can preorder for a limited time off of their website. From green beans to black coffee in under 20 minutes - coffee doesn't get fresher than that. The machine successfully completed several crowdfunidng rounds in early 2014 and is now in the prototyping stage, soon to be released to the market in early 2015. Bonaverde utilizes a high strength cone grinder that reduces grinding time and increases coffee powder consistency and uses the rain shower brewing method to ensure retention of the beans' rich flavors. Find out more on their website and online magazine!

Christian Gaiser is CEO of Bonial International Group, the global leading network of location-based shopping apps and technology, operating in 11 countries across 4 continents.Having spent time in Silicon Valley in 2008, Christian developed the concept for Bonial due to the entrepreneurial environment he was living in and the amount of flyersand mailers he was accumulating. He thought at that time that there must be a new and different way to reach the consumer that takes the time-honored circular into consideration. The concept was born. In 2008, Christian Gaiser and his team founded kaufDA in Germany, which was quickly honored in 2010 as “the star among location-based services in Germany” by W&V, Germany’s main magazine for communication and promotion. kaufDA has become Germany’s leading network for local retail promotions, initially financed by the venture capital divisions of Deutsche Telekom AG and OTTO Group. In early 2011, kaufDA was acquired by Axel Springer SE, one of Europe’s largest media companies. In 2012, the company was branded as Bonial International Group globally. Since the birth of kaufDA in 2008, Christian and his team have successfully serviced 600 retailers and 12 million consumers.
