Prior to Gudog, the only solution were dog kennels. However, spending time in a dog kennel implies the dog being put under a lot of stress related to the change of habits. Moreover, in a dog kennel the dog spends most of the time in a cage - all of this is not the ideal environment a dog owner could wish for his pet. Gudog was born out of a desire to provide an alternative.
