Jeff Dean is the Chief Scientist of Google DeepMind and Google Research. He joined Google in 1999 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technical foundations. He currently focuses on advancing AI and deep learning research across Google’s research teams.He co-founded and led the Google Brain team, helping drive innovations indeep learning for speech recognition, computer vision, natural language understanding, and a wide range of predictive applications.
