  • Haofood — The popularity of plant-based meat is rapidly growing in China; in 2020, 39% of the population were attempting to reduce their meat consumption, and 65% of them were willing to try plant-based meat to help them in this. However, many are dissatisfied with the plant-based meat options in China; Haofood’s founders discovered that this was because ofthe tofu-like quality of products currently available in the market. On top of that, often flexitarians and vegetarians struggle with craving comfort foods. Being the most consumed meat in the world, chicken products, such as fried chicken, are a comfort food to and missed by countless first-time vegetarians.Haofood offers a solution to these problems with its realistically textured and healthy plant-based chicken. They are the first company in the world to use peanut protein as their base, taking advantage of its potential for a strong and elastic texture. Led by a founding team of senior professionals from the food industry, who, together, hold a well-rounded skill set ranging from entrepreneurship to food technology, Haofood uses its own proprietary extrusion technology and formulation to create affordable, delicious plant-based chicken made from sustainable, non-GMO peanuts.

The AIR ONE is a simple, safe, redundant, and reliable platform for urban mobility and weekendpleasure. The operator and passenger of an AIR ONE is enveloped in a safety shell that is composed of layers of redundancy, simplicity, and smart mechanisms. The entire design consists of only eight critical moving components-the eight motors. The AIR ONE is extremely redundant and can remain airborne with the loss of a battery pack, motor, and even wing. Sensors are constantly monitoring the surrounding area and alerting the operator of any potential hazards, increasing situational awareness.Everybody wants to fly. Everybody feels safe driving in a car. But how do you create that level of security and simplicity in a flying platform; let alone trust users to safely operate it without hundreds of hours of flight experience? With layers of redundancy, simplicity, smart, and advanced safety mechanisms, the operator of the AIR ONE is enveloped in a shell of safety. Furthermore, AIR has introduced fly-by-intent technology-a system which understands the pilots intentions based on simple joystick commands and translates them into safe and efficient control movements- taking into account the immediate area and potential hazards. The aircraft is always cross checking itself (internally and externally) and surrounding area for any hazards or faults. Should there be any, the aircraft will simply prompt a landing. There is also a built in ballistic parachute as a last resort.
