Mattias works closely with a number of portfolio companies on their expansion, including Truecaller, Klarna, Hailo, and ChemistDirect. He also leads the work of Atomico's experienced global team on the ground in China, Japan, Brazil and Turkey, helping portfolio companies to scale into these major international markets. Before launching Atomico, Mattias was the head of investments at CLS Holdings where he was responsible for the sale of Sit Up TV for $360 million in 2005 and held previous roles working in M&A consultancy at LEK and in fund management at Valu-Trac. Mattias holds a Masters from the Stockholm School of Economics and a B.A. in Geography and Economics with Honors from McGill University.
