Right Side Capital Management
VC Fund
San Francisco, United States
Right Side Capital Management is a VC fund in San Francisco focused on Software and SaaS. "RSCM is a quantitative, data-driven, Pre-VC-stage investment firm. We primarily invest in capital-efficient tech companies with revenue-generating products that are raising $500K or less. We focus on companies raising small funding rounds because the professional investor world generally ignores this segment of the entrepreneurialecosystem. RSCM has stepped in to fill this funding void, with over 2,000 Pre-VC investments since 2012. RSCM is unique. We invest in the earliest stage startups using a quantitative, data-driven selection process. We can therefore make rapid decisions using a fast, transparent funding process—the process entrepreneurs crave. We can also efficiently build ultra-diversified investment portfolios. (Each of our funds has hundreds of portfolio companies!) Our Managing Directors are more than just investors—they’re seasoned founders who have operated in tech since the early 1990s. They’ve started their own companies and experienced the ups and downs of the tech market over three decades, giving them deep empathy for and understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face. RSCM is structured like an operating company, not a typical VC or PE firm. Internally, we view ourselves as a startup whose business model is funding other startups. We strive to deliver the best product possible to founders, both before and after we invest. We operate at a scale that allows us to deliver a level of post-investment support and engagement more consistent with what you’d typically expect from a sophisticated late-stage investment firm, and we offer a level of diversification you'd typically expect only from a large fund-of-funds."
