He also oversaw several proprietary add-on acquisitions on behalf of Clean Earth and then guided an auction sales process that netted a substantial return-on-invested capital and a $220 million gain. Mr. Dounis gained experience in his field in the early 2000s as a Senior Accountant with Deloitte's assurance and business advisory services. He subsequently served as an Associate with Goldman Sachs’ prime brokerage group and was an investment banking Analyst with UBS Investment Bank’s Global Industrials Group. In the latter position, Demetrios Dounis worked with clients such as United Technologies in its $3.1 billion acquisition of Kidde, plc.
