Nuvemshop (also known as Tiendanube in Spanish-speaking Latin America) is the only D2C e-commerce platform built specifically for Latin America. It absorbs the full complexity of LATAM commerce — payments, logistics, marketing, banking, access to capital, point of sale, AI, agentic commerce, and fiscal compliance — with everything developedin-house.Unlike fragmented stacks where no single vendor owns the outcome, Nuvemshop gives brands a single platform, a single point of contact, and a fully integrated data layer. Merchants can sell more and operate less, with automation and AI running repetitive tasks so they can focus on building their brand.Founded in 2011 by Alejandro Alfonso, Santiago Sosa, Jose Abuchaem, Martin Palombo, and Alejandro Vazquez, Nuvemshop is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, and serves D2C brands across Latin America — from those building their first store to those scaling to hundreds of millions in annual revenue. | $300K / Angel / Oct 01, 2011 |
