Mårten was ranked first in Reuters 1999 European SmallCap survey and the UBS Warburg's global sector teams in his industry sectors were continuously top ranked. Prior to UBS, Mårten was a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young International in the Nordic region, where he worked with large multi-national corporate clients, advising on interest and currency risk management, asset and liability management, fund management and cash management as well as investor relations. Mårten had also previously started up an investment company and worked on the Board level of several Swedish companies. During his business school studies, Mårten also worked at Cologne Re (General Re), where he was responsible for accounting of the Nordic re-insurance sales company. Mårten holds an M.Sc. from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in (i) Finance and (ii) Financial Control & Planning.
