Tim Kopp is an experienced marketer, advisor and venture partner with a passion for advising high growth marketing tech companies. After nearly 20 years of Senior Leadership roles across B2C and B2B, his passion lies in fueling the most promising, high growth marketing technology firms across the Midwest with the capital and talent needed toachieve their maximum potential. Immediately prior to joining Hyde Park Venture Partners as Partner, Tim was the CMO ExactTarget for 6+ years, leading a global team of nearly 300 amazing marketing leaders across demand generation, analyst relations, branding, strategic partnerships, content development and partner/field marketing. Tim is especially passionate about brand positioning, building culture, and delivering ROI. In Tim's 6+ years at ExactTarget, he helped grow the business dramatically from $47 Million to well over $400 Million and from 250 employees to well over 2000, resulting in a successful IPO in 2012 and acquisition by salesforce.com for $2.7B in 2013. Prior to joining ExactTarget, he was Chief Marketing Officer for WebTrends where he led all key aspects of marketing and worked to reposition the WebTrends brand.Tim's approach to B2B companies and the software space is highly unique due to his 10+ year of traditional marketing experience with Fortune 10 CPG Companies. Tim spent 7 years at P&G as an interactive marketing pioneer in a variety of high impact brand management and business unit leadership roles, including all digital marketing programs for the $17 Billion Beauty Care Division. Following P&G, Tim joined the Coca-Cola Company, and served as Vice-President of Worldwide Digital Marketing. He worked closely with the executive team and top global leaders to lead the Coca-Cola Company’s efforts to develop a bold vision and common platform across the world. Tim has been honored for Indianapolis Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Class, Finalist for CMO of the Year by the CMO Council, and the Best & Brightest Award from Ernst & Young. Tim is a Cincinnati native who calls Indianapolis home with his wife and two kids, and is a long-time technology leader in Indy.
