Borançılı is also the co-founder of UzmanTV, a video website specializing in curated content by experts, and Istanbul.net, Turkey's largest online dating platform. Borançılı is also the first investor in BiTaksi, Turkey's leading taxi-hailing app. Since, he has also invested in Modacruz, a marketplace for secondhand luxury fashion.
