Earlier, Salil served in other senior leadership positions, including heading corporate development and strategy at a clean technology company. Salil has led numerous financings and is also an experienced board member having served on a variety of public company boards, providing board leadership to companies undergoing significant growth and change. Salil began his career as a corporate lawyer at Torys LLP (New York and Toronto) where he focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. Salil obtained a B.Sc (Chem.) from the University of Toronto and a law degree from Queen’s University. Salil is a past recipient of the Canadian Society for Chemistry Silver Medal and is a member of the bars of New York and Ontario.
