In his role as COO, Salil was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company, including leading all of engineering, strategy, acquisitions, product management and sales. Earlier, Salil served in other senior leadership positions, including heading corporate development and strategy at a clean technology company. Salil has led numerous financings and is also an experienced board member having served on a variety of public company boards, providing board leadership to companies undergoing significant growth and change. Salil began his career as a corporate lawyer at Torys LLP (New York and Toronto) where he focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. Salil obtained a B.Sc (Chem.) from the University of Toronto and a law degree from Queen’s University. Salil is a past recipient of the Canadian Society for Chemistry Silver Medal and is a member of the bars of New York and Ontario.
