MITA Ventures is a VC fund in Puerto Vallarta focused on SaaS and Software. We invest in globally-scalable startups, principally from Mexico or LatAm founder teams, based on strong core enabling technologies (with an AI and Blockchain focus). We anticipate the most promising opportunities utilizing these enabling technologies being in FinTech, EdTech, IoT, IIoT, SaaS, and E-Commerce verticals. Our investments stages willrange from Seed and Series A companies coming out of Mexico to Series B companies from other countries wanting to expand into Mexico/LatAm. Portfolio construction (dollar allocation) will be 20% Seed, 30% Growth, and 50% Expansion. Our strategy includes active engagement with founders, clear deployment plans and criteria for follow-on investments, early planning to attract future co-investors, and an identified path for exit.
