He then envisioned the need for a Microsoft-centric system for creating and managing websites that could take the online experience far beyond the then present technology.In 2001 Michael, along with four fellow internet zealots, all well respected for their technical expertise, established Sitecore as a legal business entity. They introduced a product with functionality and appeal that was completely disruptive in the market, and which has evolved to be a market leader today. These five continue to be key contributors to the company, with Michael leading the business as CEO.Michael is responsible for managing the global strategy, finance and operations for Sitecore, and has led our record-setting revenue growth and award-winning product direction.
