He was a member of the Research Prioritisation Project Steering Group which was chaired by Jim O’Hara (October 2010 to September 2011). This group was asked to make recommendations to Government on areas of focus for the next phase of Ireland’s science, technology and innovation strategy. The report was published by Forfas in March 2012.
