Previously, Hua served as Google China’s Head of Business Development from 2006 until late 2009, where he built Google China’s premium ad network in the domestic market from scratch into an $80 million annual run-rate business. While at Google China, Hua alsomanaged Google China’s portfolio of investments, including well-established Chinese internet companies such as Dianping, Ganji, Tianya, Xunlei, Maxthon, and others.Prior to Google China, Hua co-founded and managed Shanghai Yinda Technology, an engineering consulting company offering mobile telecom network planning and optimization services. During his tenure the company grew from 1 to 100 employees and to $15 million in sales by 2008.
