Over his long career in high tech, he has founded and/or invested in several successful businesses. Investments include Rackable Systems (which acquired SGI, and then was acquired by HP in 2017), CubeTree (acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand), Biba (acquired by Amazon), Janrain (acquired by Akamai), and DataFox (acquired by Oracle). In addition, Griffiths was a pre-seed investor in Zoom Communications (NASDAQ: ZM), which had its IPO in April 2019.Griffiths holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the US Naval Academy, as well as a Masters of Science in business administration from the George Washington University School of Business..
