Through the Majorelle Investments platform he is a reference shareholder of Maisons du Monde one of the leading online home decor company and marketplace in Europe listed on Euronext (EPA:MDM).He was a founding board member and chairman of Yandex.Market (raised over $500m), one of the leading marketplaces in Russia, often considered as the Russian Amazon, founded by Arkady Volozoh, the CEO and founder of Yandex, until it was sold in June 2020 for $1.5bn.As a marketplace entrepreneur, he launched marketplaces in Vietnam, Thailand or Colombia and invested in several marketplace ventures in Europe and in the US.Gabriel Naouri is skilled at leveraging his global network of contacts to build bridges between Europe and the U.S. and is always keen to build dialogues between tech entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 CEOs. Over the last decade, he has developed a large and strong network of global brands. He has also been steadily developing strong relationships with companies such as Yandex, Google, Alibaba, Airbnb or Facebook.Outside of his responsibilities as a C-Level executive, Gabriel Naouri has experience as a startup investor and advisor, both in the U.S. and Europe. He sees significant deal flow being both at the heart of the French and the U.S. startup and VC ecosystems. His strong ties with dozens of U.S. entrepreneurs and his interest in innovation have allowed him to invest in multiple success stories, from Jaanuu in apparel (as an early investor with Ron Burkle and Brian Lee) to Convoy in logistics (with Marc Benioff and Barry Diller). In August 2018, Gabriel Naouri co-led a $111M financing round with the Aeon Group in Boxed.com, a leading e-commerce player in the United States.He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Paris Dauphine University. He later enrolled in the “Global Leadership and Public Policy” program at Harvard University in 2011. He is also a certified board director from NYSE- Euronext. Gabriel Naouri has been named one of the 100 economic Leaders of Tomorrow by Le Figaro in France every year since 2013, and has been recognized as a "Young Global Leader" by the World Economic Forum.
