Additionally, he co-founded NUMA México (formerly Venture Institute), the leading startup accelerator platform, and Fondeadora, LATAM´s pioneer crowdfunding platform that was sold to Kickstarter in 2016.After his tenure as COO and CFO of Umbral Capital, Fernando became CEO of the real estate private equity fund where he was responsible for managing USD$ 50M in capital commitments, and continued as Chairman of the Board after founding ALLVP. Before Umbral Capital, Fernando was Deputy Director of the Division of Energy and Project Finance in Protego Asesores, now Evercore Partners.Fernando holds an MBA from Stanford GSB, an MA in Economics from London School of Economics, and a BA in Economics from ITAM. Fernando has been active in Alternative Assets for more than 20 years, the last ten as founding partner of ALLVP.
