This mission was undertaken in collaboration with the Ramon Foundation and the Israel Space Agency, engaging numerous scientists, educators, students, and artists. The Rakia Mission on Ax-1 presented a distinctive opportunity for Israeli investors, researchers, and entrepreneurs to participate in various scientific and cultural aspects of space exploration. On July 2025, the ISU Board of Trustees unanimously appointed Eytan Stibbe as the university’s new Chancellor. The appointment is for a three-year term.
