He Co-Founded at Navotek Medical Ltd. Mr. Eckhouse took ESC public in 1996 and raised more than $250M in public offerings. He served as Chairman of Syneron Medical Ltd. from May 2004 to May 2013. He worked at Lumenis Ltd. Prior to that, Shimon Eckhouse served as Head of Product Development and Technical Director at Maxwell Technologies in San Diego, California. From 1969 to 1986, he worked at Rafael, Armament Development Authority of Israel as a Scientist, Team Leader and Head of Department and was active in various areas of research and development including lasers and electro-optics. Shimon Eckhouse has been the Founder of Orsense, Ventor, Tulip, Cardiodex, Opticul Diagnostic, C3D and NanoCyte, Inc. Shimon Eckhouse serves as the Chairman of Fluorinex Active Ltd. Shimon Eckhouse serves as the Chairman at Starling Advanced Communications Ltd. since July 2010. He serves as Chairman at OrSense Ltd. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Ossense Ltd., Navotek Medical Ltd., and Replicom Ltd. and Edge Medical Devices Ltd. He has been a Director at Syneron Medical Ltd. since May 2004. He serves as a Director of Cardiodex and NanoCyte, Inc. Shimon Eckhouse serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Agate Medical Investments LP and JGV Growth Equity Fund, L.P. Shimon Eckhouse serves as a Director of the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology. He served as a Director of Zend Technologies Ltd. He served as a Director of WideMed Ltd. Shimon Eckhouse has more than 25 registered patents and published more than 50 papers in leading reference journals and conferences. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at Irvine and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology.
