He was the head of M&A APAC for Google, and led all deals by Google in the APAC region (ex-China) from 2006 to 2011. Previously, he was a director of strategy and corporate development at Yahoo Korea. He was also previously the CFO of Korea Thrunet, Korea's first broadband network and enterprise solution provider. Prior to his corporate finance career, Charles was an investment banker (Credit Agricole Group, CISA) in the APAC region, mainly transacting in M&A, IPOs, and equity markets funding. Charles graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983, and received his JD from the Emory University School of Law in 1986. He enjoys the great outdoors and has a particular passion for angling in all waters.
