His early career included co-founding Virtela, which was acquired by NTT, as well as stints at ANS, America Online, Qwest Communications before joining TeleSoft Partners and then Sofinnova Ventures. He is a native of Philadelphia (and rabid Eagles fan) and he currently resides in the Bay Area with his wife and two children. His is also an extreme sports enthusiast and is passionate about scuba diving.
