Brian Kinane is a seed investor at Sure Valley Ventures focused on Software. Brian Kinane joined Yorkville Advisors in 2008 and became a Partner in August of 2012. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the Firm’s Sub-Advisor, Yorkville Advisors UK, LLP, he is responsible for origination, structuring, due diligence and execution of structured debt and equity investments in small-mid cap companies, with aparticular focus on the energy, resources and technology sectors in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.Prior to joining Yorkville Advisors, Brian co-founded MobileAware, a leading specialist provider of mobile data solutions. At MobileAware, Brian held the positions of Executive Board Director, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Brian raised over $15 million in financing from investors including Intel and Bank of America, implemented ground-breaking commercial global agreements with leading technology vendors such as Oracle and Ericsson, and acquired key commercial technology businesses. Previous to MobileAware, Brian held a variety of corporate development, product management and corporate strategy positions with telecommunications industry leaders Ericsson AB and the Telenor Group. Brian received a BA in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin (First Class & Gold Medal award) and an MBA from each the Columbia Business School and London Business School (Distinction).
