In addition to Merian Ventures, Alexsis is a US-UK Fulbright Commissioner; Board member of the Oxford Internet Institute; Board member of The Oxford Foundry; Founder and funder of the WEInnovate STEM accelerator for Women at Imperial College, London; and Board Member and Advisor to companies she's funded. Alexsis is also Chairman and Founder of The Althea Foundation, established in 2003 as a family office. Today, The Althea Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and it is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity described in Internal Revenue Code Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1).
