Previously, Tomer had a successful career in R&D, having served as an officer in Unit 8200 of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and worked as an engineer at Allot Communications (NASDAQ: ALLT).Tomer is passionate about education and geopolitics, and has previously served as the chairman of the Israeli Model UN Association (IMUNA) and as a board member of the Birthright Israel Excel community. He also spent the last 15 years volunteering in education and youth leadership programs in Israel and the US. Tomer graduated summa cum laude from the honors program of business and economics at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC). He enjoys music, yoga and mediation.
