After his graduation in 1996, he joined the Leipzig office of Technologieholding, by then Germany's leading venture capital firm. After a stay at Soffinova Ventures in San Francisco and the merger of Technologieholding with 3i, Sören Schuster worked in the 3i offices in Berlin and Stuttgart. In 2006, he joint the Triangle Venture Capital group that is specialized in financing university spin-offs. In 2007, he took over his current position at CFH.
