He also assisted the general partners in fund-related activities such as divestment of their funds' successes traded on NASDAQ, and in general fund-raising activities such as portfolio analysis, reporting and due diligence for the purpose of raising new funds.Prior to joining Apax Partners, Raoul was an associate with Friedman , Turbidy & Co, a New York-based financial advisory firm. Raoul assisted the managing partner in several refinancing and acquisition transactions. He was involved in a refinancing of asset-backed loans with a large glass maker in the US, representing the company in its efforts to refinance its debt with banking institutions. In addition he was involved in fund-raising for a US based cosmetics company in its expansion.Raoul studied law at Bar-Ilan University. He clerked at the firm of M. Porath & Co in Tel-Aviv and passed the Bar exams in Israel in 1993. After that he graduated in 1995 from Columbia Business School with an MBA.
