Prem was awarded the 2004 MIT-OMNOVA award for Excellence in Polymer Research for his thesis contribution.Prem holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai, a MS and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering Practice from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
