Elizabeth obtained her Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Ottawa (1994), studying the role of protein tyrosine kinases in oncogenesis. She then received postdoctoral training at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London (U.K.) from 1994 to 1997 where she studied oncogenes and their signal transduction pathways. In 2008, Elizabeth obtained a business certificate degree as part of the “Programme de perfectionnement des cadres supérieurs” (an Executive management and training program) offered by CIREM in collaboration with HEC/University of Montreal.
