Liefeng performed as Director of Investment Department at Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd. (SAIL) from 1998 to 2008, where Dr. Qu successfully completed the execution of SAIL’s investments in China Netcom, BestTV (600637.SH) and so forth before he founded New Alliance Capital. He established 10 joint ventures together with MNCs such as Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung, Continental Group, PCCW, Texas Instruments, Cisco, and other companies. Liegeng earned his Ph.D. of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Master of Engineering from China Shipping Research Institute, and Bachelor of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
