For example, he is a co-founder and investor of Huazhu Hotels Group (NASDAQ: HTHT), a hotel chain in China with over 2,000 hotels; angel investor of Focused Photonics (SZSE: 300203), a high tech instrumentation company; and angel investor in Jumei.com (NYSE: JMEI), an e-commerce company in the beauty sector.John is also a regular guest speaker at high profile conferences and colleges (e.g., Harvard Business School, National University of Singapore, Techventure).John graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with High Distinction.
