Technologies, Integrated Vascular Systems, Kyphon Inc, Metabolix, Proteolix and TetraLogic Pharmaceuticals . Jack Lasersohn served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association and is a past Chairman of the Medical Industry Group of the NVCA . He was the recipient of the NVCA’s Outstanding Service Award in 2008. In 2011, Jack Lasersohn was appointed by the Office of the President to serve as an Entrepeneur in Residence at the FDA to develop an Innovation Pathway for medical devices. In 2012 he was appointed by the Secretary of HHS as a guest panel member of the Medicare Coverage and Advisory Committee (MEDCAC). He received a B.S. degree in Physics from Tufts University, an M.A. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
