Plural is an early-stage venture fund that seeks to invest in early-stage tech startups. It aims to invest in more than 25 start-ups over the next 18 months, taking early-stage stakes of between €1mn and €10mn. If successful, Plural will enlist dozens more entrepreneurs as investors and raise bigger funds to boost the European start-up sector.Plural is designed to have a hands-on approach to investing. Each member who joins is free to invest in startups of their choice, under the condition that they also put in their own capital. Once an investment has been made, the investing partner will work with the startup according to its specific needs, which could include joining as a co-founder, helping build infrastructure, or recruiting new talent.
