Hurst oversaw SINA’s global business development and mergers and acquisitions and was heavily involved in the company’s day-to-day operations as well as major corporate transactions and pre-IPO funding.Previously, Hurst served as a consultant at Ernst & Young Management Consulting Group, where he focused on marketing and operations in telecommunications and technology companies. He also held marketing, engineering and management positions at Octel Communication Inc. and NYNEX.Hurst was born in Taiwan and raised in New York City.
