It originated from the angel investment activities of Johann “Hansi” Hansmann, one of Europe’s most active business angels. Since 2010, Hansi has invested in more than 100 companies and supported multiple successful exits, including Shpock, Runtastic, mySugr, Durchblicker, Busuu and Tractive. Our roots are in venture capital. We invest directly in early-stage startups across Europe, typically at pre-seed stage and often as lead investor.
