Bard’s Performing Arts Center, for example, attracts world-class dance, music and theatre performers and attracts audiences from throughout the greater Hudson Valley region.Undergraduate admissions takes various factors into account, including GPA (usually 3.5 or higher), high school courses taken, recommendation letters, extracurricular activities and the admissions essay. SAT scores are optional.Bard has a number of financial aid options. Students in the music and science programs may apply for a full tuition scholarship, which covers all four years of school. A limited number of additional scholarships are awarded to first-generation students with a strong academic record.Additionally, students may apply for need-based aid like Pell grants and work-study.
