He advises and invests a series of US internet start‐ups and venture capital funds, and sits on the board of advisors of The American University of Cairo School of Business, the Jordanian incubator Oasis500 and Middle East online entrepreneur network Wamda. He is writing a book on start‐ups in the Arab World: “StartUp Rising ‐‐ The Entrepreneurial Revolution That’s Remaking the Middle East” ‐‐ published by MacMillan/Palgrave in August 2013.
