He also brought his transaction know-how to bear in complex acquisitions such as e.g. the takeover of the listed Swiss firm of optic ag (2003) and KSW Microtec AG (2006).After gaining his degree in business administration, Bertram Köhler began his career as a consultant at KPMG where he carried out various M&A projects with transactions in the banking sector. He then worked at the Commerzbank, amongst other things being involved in corporate reorganizations, turnaround projects, implementation of structured financing and M&A projects. Bertram Koehler completed a technical apprenticeship in the optical industry (ZEISS).
