As one of the first employees, Bala helped shape solution requirements, go-to-market approach and sales to clients such as GE, Dell, Hitachi, Ford among others. Before Vistaar, Bala was senior equity analyst and partner at Pacific Growth Equities (San Francisco) where he covered the software sector. In his seven years as an equity analyst Bala covered a broad range of companies across software sectors such as enterprise resource planning, procurement, retail, analytics and e-commerce. He received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering degree and MS in Physics from BITS-Pilani, India, and MBA in Finance from University of Toledo, Ohio.
